Youth

I have suddenly remembered my carefree attitude towards school and life in my younger years. Things were simple. Mum and Dad had dinner on the table everynight so I never had to worry about cooking, I went to movies with my friends, I hardly ever did homework because I still passed all my tests with good grades, I giggled with my friends about who was hotter- the singer from MCR or the guy who worked at the McDonalds up the road; the list goes on.
Now, I am suddenly swamped with work that will become the grounding for my future life and am dealing with the harsh reality that I will have to move out of home and possibly live on my own in order to go to University.
More still, life after Uni is looking bleak too. Everything I heard on the tv and radio as a child, but dismissed because it wasn't relevant to me, suddenly is.
Taxes, Superannuation, Shares, Insurance, Where will I live? What will I do? Passports, Government, Immigration, Career, House, Mortgage, Marriage, Who?, Laws, Rules, Retirement.
Children will never understand how much choice and opportunity is given to them at such a young age.
Teenagers however, have the chance to witness the stresses of the adult world. And it scares them.
It scares me too

Rant about American Politics
- Nov. 3rd, 2008 at 11:16 PM
First of all, John McCain's medical records are thicker than the Oxford Dictionary, which means that the lovely, anti-gay, rifle-shooting, leave-my-kids-at-home-24/7-while-I-go-ou
For chrisakes, the woman made victims of rape in Wasilla, Alaska pay for their own rape kits (approx. $1,200)! Not to mention the fact that although she has proclaimed herself to be 'pro-life', she stated that (and I quote) "If the legislature passed a law approving the death penalty, I would sign it." ...and how is that 'pro-life' Sarah?
I can't say that Barack Obama is much better. He'd just be pushed around by the Head of Security and the other Heads like a little kid being bullied on the playground. But at least he approves of gay marriages.
Frankly, homosexual love is the only real kind of love that exists in this world. For straight people, there's mainly the instinct to reproduce. There's no such instinct for a gay couple. Yet they still fall in love.
And they most certainly shouldn't be deprived of state Health and Retiree benefits just because of their sexual orientation Sarah! You're damn lucky the other members of the board disagreed with you or I'd be one the first plane to Alaska to whoop your ass!
I'm sorry if I have offended anyone. I apologise repeatedly. I have very strong opinions on the subject and am prone to get worked up over it. But I'm probably just a 15 year old kid who doesn't know any better.
All I'm saying is that no matter who gets elected, the world is going down the drain and it's too late to stop it

Writer's Block: A Fruity Synthesis
- Aug. 19th, 2008 at 11:42 AM
My year4 teacher planted a Squash and a Watermelon too close together and they fused to create a Squatermelon! It looked pretty cool, the green and yellow all mixed together. I didn't get to taste it though...
If you could create a hybrid of any two fruits in the world, what would they be and why? Describe this new fruit (its name, taste, color, ect.) Submitted By |

Writer's Block: God For a Day
- Aug. 6th, 2008 at 11:53 PM
But the top three things huh? That's a tough one.
Well, top of the list would be to own every single D-gray Man item that has and/or will ever exist. Including even the unwritten D-Gray Man chapters (hey, i'm god for a day. I can do anything i want).
- Then i would make the characters real and spend the rest of the day making them do yaoi scenes. ~nosebleed~
Who needs anything else?
If you could be God for a day, what three things would be at the top of your to-do list? Submitted By |

Kids on the tram= TRAM RAGE!
- Jul. 31st, 2008 at 11:10 PM
All those damn private school kids! They crowd around the doors as if there's no one on the tram but them! Even though there's plenty of room on the rest of the tram!
And then people who want to get off the tram have to push and shove and sometimes even miss their stop!
It makes me so mad that i want to kick them off the tram just to get them out of my way!
Grrrrr!

It's cookies7cream here!
This is my new LJ account, seeing as my last email account with this site completely crashed on me.
But fear not! I have returned with an even cooler (in my opinion) username!
Except I have some bad news...to read all my previous entries ou'll have to go to my old LJ webpage. that is, if you care at all.
Search for my old username - cookies7cream - to read them.
